Polish Association Newcastle

Polish Association represents the achievements of three generations of Poles who have made Newcastle their home. They are the essential component of the diverse cultural mosaic that is Newcastle and part of the driving force that has seen this city flourish and prosper in an ever-changing modern world. The children of Polish Migrants in the post-war period to the present have become active, highly valued citizens and proud Australians. They have contributed to the social, cultural, academic and economic growth of this city and the nation and they have built on the proud history of Poles in Australia that is best represented by Edmund Strzelecki, the founder of the Hunter’s Coal Industry.
